Solar Water Heating System
Solar water heating system consists of Solar collectors which heats the water during sunshine time. Generally, glass tubes or copper tubes will be used for heating of the water. The system which has the glass tubes as the collector is named as ‘Evacuated Tube Collector system (ETC)’ and the system which has the copper tubes as the collector is named as ‘Flat Plate Collector system (FPC)’.Based on the application, the Solar heaters are further classified as ‘Pressurized and Non-Pressurized solar water heating systems’.
